I absolutely love working with Bali! I mean; seriously Bali is mega GOALS! (she ain’t your average auntie) She’s beautiful inside & out, has great skin and oh so sweet! So happy to be able to work with her for one of her confessionals glam for this season of Family Karma.
? Bali’s Instagram ?
Bali has such great skin! I wanted to play off on that of course and I also wanted to play off on the stunning blue dress she was wearing. I definitely wanted to keep her eyes warm but not to warm more like a sunset glow to really showcase this electric blue.
I am a huge fan of glam not competing with outfit nor hair. I believe that it should be a combo team effort on all parts to have an overall sophisticated luxurious glam. (Of course that's just my opinion) So for this glam I really wanted to stay away from any cool shades actually went full opposite and went into warm tones and peachy gold undertones.
Here are the key products used!
Used “Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows in #5” which is a peachy palette. This palette has six 6 beautiful peachy shades which can be used for a natural snatch or even when you want a bit of color! 3 soft warm shimmery shades & 3 matte shadows.
Made sure that Bali’s eyes were nicely prepped; used a nice sticky base ALAMAR Cosmetics “Pero Primero Primer”- $15.00 to get total color payoff for this glam.
? Please see below as to what shades were used & placement ?
To further define Bali’s eye shape & also to give a bit of a sultry feel to the glam; tightly lined her eyes with a another kit fav “STILA – Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner“
and packed on a flat brush
“Anastasia Beverly Hills – Single eyeshadow in shade “Noir – carbon black”
& smudged the outer corners of her eyes to give a slightly smokey feel..
Finishing up this eye glam with some amazing lashes from KISS Lashes in style “Matte Velvet” synthetic mink & 100% vegan lashes which are absolutely stunning and perfect for this glam!
Bali has beautiful skin complexion so I wanted to showcase that by keeping her skin an overall “j-lo” cough cough glazed* – bronzy look.
Used a blush that would be chuchi yet subtle enough to still have the look overall bronzy effect with a nice reflective glow & flush. A stable in my kit too “Too Faced Cosmetics – Papa Don’t Peach Blush Peach-Infused Blush”. .
I LOVE this blusher! It’s a stunning warm coral with a very nice sheen, it applies beautifully & smells like peaches!! I say this blusher is pretty much great for just about every skin tone & if not totally can totally be used as a blush topper.
To further bronze the face & give an overall nice warm glow used “Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc -Golden Mosiac” I like this powder because it gives a very beautiful natural glow with no glitter or sparkles just a beautiful nice warm sheen that does not enhance pores; it’s just stunning!
For body glow I used a a personal kit favorite “Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in shade “Conceited”
I absolutely love these Glow Powder. Extremely versatile & they are extremely pigmented. What I like the most about these glow powders; you have full control meaning you can add this pigment to your foundation or your moisturizer, you can use this pigment on its own or you can mist it with some setting spray like I did on Bali for further pigmented glow on the body.
To finish up this glam I use “Too Faced Hangover 3-In-1 Setting Spray” to not only set the makeup and keep it glowly but also to take away any powdery effect that could be left behind. *Also used for the body glow 😉
