While working in San Antonio Texas, I wasn’t actually able to explore very much. Due to…..well; I was working and also to prevent any possible chance of COVID. Fortunately I did have a few hours of one day prior to working and how the streets were pretty empty? I took advantage and slightly semi explored downtown San Antonio.
Luckily the hotel I was in, is beautifully located off the river in downtown San Antonio. It was pretty neat because the hotel had an exit right onto the river; making it super easy to get to. The Riverwalk is beautiful and I mean really stunning. It’s full of greenery, very well kept and clean. Not only is scenery stunning & relaxing; this Riverwalk is an easy way to get to the local shops, enjoy dinning on the river but also has historic stops on the way (which was pretty cool for my tourist self because I really didn’t know much about San Antonio).

As a Miami Fl native, I was truly in awe with all the color of the leaves, I mean really look at those leaves!!! Beautiful!
Unfortunately in Miami we don’t actually see and feel the seasons as it’s usually always warm & basically summer life all the time ha! So walking through this Riverwalk was so absolutely relaxing, plus the weather was delish! Not cold, nor too warm either just perfect I would say at least 72F and not very humid either! My skin loved it there!

Presa Street CrossingÂ
Got learn about the Presa Street Crossing, which was so cool! It’s one of the oldest streets in San Antonio alongside St. Mary’s Street. both were built by the 1860s.

After walking around for about 30 mins or so; I slapped on my GPS because I was pretty thirsty haha & I was told there was a Starbucks right on the Riverwalk. Well in typical “Ade” fashion; I picked the incorrect Starbucks on the list haha and ended up walking towards downtown.
Which again; you guys already know I don’t believe in coincidences. ha and while trying to get this Starbucks ha I ran into beautiful structures. I almost felt like you go back in time in San Antonio. It really gives you a nice old school vibes.
I was so excited to also run into a beautiful Cathedral! I really do have a thing for beautiful structed buildings, (Can you only imagine how I am in NY ha! San Fernando Cathedral is STUNNING like out of a movie stunning!

Also got a quick glance at Bexar County Courthouse which is also stunning! Both Bexar County Courthouse and the San Fernando Cathedral have a Gothic/Romanesque structure feels. Beautiful!

All and all, although my exploring was quite short lived? I enjoyed every minute of it. San Antonio is beautiful and they also have a bomb vegan spot that I basically ordered from Uber Eats everyday I was there ha!
Peep this “Chicken” and Gravy Meal with Mash, a ordered a side of broccoli cause your’ girl can eat and hands down the best kale salad I’ve ever had! Side note: I don’t eat Kale and this isn’t sponsored.
