Hey yal let’s chat!
So I went to Pinterest; like I normally do when I have a new blog entry.
Technically speaking Pinterest is one of the best ways to get a lot more traffic to my blog as it’s own website and still needs that extra reach ya know?
If I really want an extra extra push I’ll place an ad! It’s pretty cost efficient, if you target it right, for your demographic and etc? A Pinterest ad really can be pretty useless!
Well here’s the problem. I guess with keto being such a popular diet my pin was completely removed due to it being “misleading information”.
Once I got that email I’m not gonna lie I was a little triggered….
“Your ad wasn’t approved because it didn’t meet our advertising guidelines.”
?
We don’t allow the advertising of:
Pharmaceutical manufacturers (branded or unbranded)/Prescription drugs for humans or pets/Online pharmacies/Class III medical devices/Clinical trial recruitment/Claims regarding the prevention or cure of disease/Products or advice we suspect could be unsafe, unreliable, or easily abused./Invasive medical procedures
GUESSING I FELL INTO THIS ONE?! We also don't allow: - Weight loss or appetite suppressant pills and supplements - - Unlikely or dangerous weight-loss claims and before-and-after weight-loss imagery - - Claims regarding unrealistic cosmetic results -
I couldn’t believe that Pinterest has now stated that my side of the story of my OWN personal experience with a extreme and wrongful keto diet went down for me with actual facts about my life was misleading?!
Weight loss or appetite suppressant pills and supplements? Didn’t promote that, I mean I didn’t even take any!
Unlikely or dangerous weight-loss claims and before-and-after weight-loss imagery? Um well I’ll be DAMNED … my weight loss wasn’t unlikely.. cause it actually did happen, was honest about the whole process and it took me about 4- 5 years?! I don’t get it.
Claims regarding unrealistic cosmetic results? What?!? That didn’t apply either!
Now, what can be misleading about that? That in my entry I explained that you should do dieting the right way? Do research? Not make the same mistakes I made?
?
“If you think we made a mistake or you’ve corrected the issue that causes rejection, please click this appeal link, and we will review your ad again within 24 hours.”
sighhhhh… was unable to and got this:
This site can’t be reached
The webpage at https://www.pinterest.com/suspension-appeal/submit/?token=”
ETC!
Now…. about the actual ad?!
Was my ad misleading? I really don’t think so! I don’t think so it’s states PCOS ladies yes you can 2021 let’s do it right and I put a side-by-side of my weight loss and was also pretty specific on what the subject was on the caption. Again what not to do and what to do!
I don’t understand how the information is misleading if I’m just telling my story on how my keto experience was not very positive.
And in reality what really upsets me the most about this is; I open up about this so you guys really know firsthand what not to do.

::currently searching::
(I lucky for me I’m like a screenshot junkie so I’m gonna post them now)
Original pin with the stats that originally got over 2.5K views on the first 12hrs on Pinterest and 118 clinks to my blog link!!
(stats before I ran the ad)
I’m not trying to hate on a diet in particular…. by all means I’m just trying to give out information that did work and did not work for me and I mean I’m not the only person out there who has had severe repercussions due to a non-properly done keto diet..
When it comes to PCOS…. it’s a very sensitive subject for me it’s some thing that I’ve been dealing with for so long and honestly I know how easy it is for us PCOS ladies to just get super frustrated and just jumping into a keto diet because well…
It can make you lose weight very fast and the sugar is low but the long-haul and repercussions of them are not that great..
I stand with what I said I don’t care if Pinterest decided to remove my ad!
?
Now it’s up to 16 views with saves, no repins, no click to links so anything whatsoever …. so they basically left my pin up they completely just left the post but I have given it absolutely no algorithm whatsoever!
It’s very unfortunate and quite sad but I will continue to speak my truth on my blog…
For now I stand on what I said ok my last blog… and if you haven’t read it?! Well here it is!

But like forreal? I understand companies don’t want people to harm themselves and of course the real real reason; they’re not trying to end up liable.
But DAMN! I’m out here trying for my PCOS sisters out here not to hurt themselves like forreal, not to make the same mistakes I made. The f*****k I’ve seen ad’s with Herbalife!!! I cant ::MAJOR EYE ROLL HERE::
Regardless I wanted to share this cause it always always peachy pero it is what its is. And I aint going to stop haha!
Hope you all have a wonderful day!!
