Golden Goddess Glam with Vikina ✨

So much fun working with the very sweet and beautiful Vikina for the Galore X The Blonds Fashion Show for Miami Art Week 2020! Got to glam out Vikina at Sandra Madjdi’s super chuch studio. Sandra is Vikina’s image consultant/stylist and so happy we got to work together!
Vikina’s glam inspo was golden goddess vibes with lots of glow and defined eyes.
Here a few shots of her glam as well as the key products used to achieve this golden goddess look!
I’ve been very much into cream blushers these past couple of month’s! For Vikina’s flushed glow?
I used Fenty Beauty – Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush in shade “Strawberry Dip”
CHEEKS OUT FREESTYLE CREAM BLUSH – $20.00
Not only is this cream blush everything, it’s extremely pigmented (a little bit goes a long way). overall; this blusher is super easy to blend. I especially like that you can apply this cream blusher over set powdered makeup. Well…that says alot to me.
As this is a cream blusher, it’s not only subjected to just blush on your cheeks. This blusher can also be used for an overall glow, bronzer, as eyeshadow and even lip tint.
AND this product is only $20.00! I think that’s an amazing price for such a great versatile product.
Vikina is beautiful but also has beautiful large eyes; a dream really for any makeup artist! Vikina mentioned she’s really a wing gal ayeeee! So I wanted to give her that wing/cat eye feel without really giving her a wing.
Decided to use some shadows from one of my favorite palettes in my kit.
Pat Mcgrath Labs: Eyeshadow Palette: MOTHERSHIP II: SUBLIME – $125.00
These shadows are very pigmented & pack a serious punch so I always have a good time playing with these shadows! I prepped Vikina’s eyelids with a Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base as it’s nice colorless sticky shadow primer (but they now too carry tinted shades also).
Using #1 . “Skinshow Glow” a beautiful soft shimmery pale gold shadow onto brow area for a glowly lifted look. Blended a tad bit of #2. “Copper Toned” a beautiful warm metallic copper shadow onto the outer corners of her lids.
To define the outer crease, buffed in #3. “Dark” a matte deep warm brown with a slight hue of burgundy & blended up & outwards for a more cat eyes feel.
To further define the wing effect & tight-line the eyes? Used #4. “Extreme Dark” a mega pigmented matte black shadow with amazing color pay off.
To finish off this glam & to add the shine and gleam? Packed #5. “Bronze” onto a flat damped* brush. I wanted this to mega shine so using them wet/damped will intensify the shine. onto the inner lid and blended out into the middle of the crease.
Lastly lashes. In my opinion; I think lashes can really tie up the whole look or sadly can overshadow the eye glam, It’s really important to have many lash styles on hand to ensure you choose the best lashes for the your client’s eye shape and also that specific glam.
For Vikina’s performance glam I still went with the whole cat eye feel but wanted to make sure the lashes were full enough as she was performing!
Decided on Ardell Beauty– Studio Effects – Demi Wispies *Studio effect lashes give the classic Demi cat eyes feel but alot more full the classic Demi.
For an extra bam? I also added a few I.Envy – Kiss – Black Medium and Large knot free individual lashes.
To finish off this look and to set with a luminous finish? Used a new product I just added to my kit!
Morphe – LUMINOUS SETTING SPRAY – $16.00
✨
So much fun working with Vikina! Hope to work with you soon boo!
