So happy I got to work with Stephanie “Chiquibaby” again! ?
It’s been quite sometime since I’ve work with Stephanie! I met her 4-5 years ago while I was working makeup full time at Suelta la Sopa! Her energy has always been so fun, positive and uplifting! Although I’ve done her glam a few times before; this would be the first time we work a carpet together so I was pretty excited!
Carpet glam is a whole different ball park of fun! I love it! It’s hard to explain what I feel but I’ll try ha! It’s definitely a different kind of fun!
The pressure really is on (at least for me it is)kind of fun. I take a few days prior to prep my kit with the goodies I may need. It’s also very signature of me to go & purchase new last minute fun goodies (a good way for me to see what new arrivals on trends & etc).
Working this years Latin Billboard’s was quite different due to Covid-19. Usually makeup/hair gets to go on location with the talent/presenter for touch-ups & etc, but due to security-sanitation purposes & completely understandable; that was not the case this year.
Stephanie was not only attending the event, walking the carpet, but also hosting the backstage interviews! I had to make sure that her glam not only stayed put but also carpet and tv ready ohhhh and I’m not thereeeeee … “you know just watching out from my home … on the tv” ha! ::nail biting attack inserted here:: (MUA’s i know yal’ feel me here)

The dress was a beautiful, bright shiny green so I wanted to make sure the glam was to compliment the dress & not compete against ….like a smokey eye or colorful shadow and or etc,
Stephanie’s tan was on fleek too; which was not only great to compliment the dress but the overall glam! I kept her eyes pretty soft to keep the focus on her flush and glow, lashy and of course glazed to the glow gods!
Get the look! ?
Check what exactly what products I used on Stephanie Himonids for this glowly glam red carpet glam!
Anastasia Beverly Hills– “Amrezy ” Highlighter to set the cream highlight – (which is also discontinued – so sorrrrry but it’s a fav!)
Dior – Nude Luminizer Shimmering Glow Powder in “Pink Glow” is a beautiful highlight with alot of shine! I used this highlight to further enhance the high points on the face & eyes.
Urban Decay Primer Potion– To ensure shadow doesn’t move at all and stay’s put throughout the night and this primer doesn’t change the lid color and leaves a nice sticky base.
Dior – Backstage Palettein “Warm Neutral” – Loved using these shadows right on top of the primer for a more amplified look. This is beautiful palette the shadows apply smoothly & blended out oh so nicely!
Rimmel London Scandal-Eyes Kohl eye pencil in shade “010 Nude“, is a very nice way to open up the eyes in a beautifully subtle & effective way. These pencils are waterproof, without breaking the bank and the glide beautifully!
Pro Tip: I like to mist the skin with a facial spray to prep the skin and wait a little dry or use a fan to speed up the process. Apply “Diamond Glow Powder” onto a dense fluffy brush and apply in circular motions (this helps breakdown the pigment) then come in with a smaller brush to further highlight highpoints such as collar bone, shoulders and etc). Finish off by misting the skin again but not with setting spray as that can mattify what you just did! Try a nice facial spray to take away the powdery effect!
