Here’s what I got in my October Base BOXYCHARM!

Murad – AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser

Retail Price: $40.00

So excited to receive this Murad exfoliating cleanser (have a thing for facial scrubs ha). in this months box! This scrub is pretty interesting but like in a good way! Besides it consisting of a light scrub actual scrub (like the mini beads) .it also has salicylic, lactic and glycolic acids which further provide a deeper exfoliation to the skin.

The texture of this cleanser is nice, almost gel like, it’s unscented and the scrubs are very tiny like micro scrubs.

I’ve tested out this product every other day since I received it in my boxy charm box and the cleanser is not harsh at all. Quite gentle actually but pretty effective and amazing for those hard-to-reach areas.

As this scrub does have multiple acids which do help resurface the skin – it’s very important to apply us SPF after using this product.

Spongelle – Body Wash Infused Buffer

I have received something similar in a previous boxy base box before. not exactly sure what boxy it was but happy to get it again! This body Spongelle sponge is a limited edition body wash infused buffer meaning this sponge not only exfoliates but also smells great also leave’s your skin hydrated.

Sol de Janeiro – Brazilian Kiss Tinted Cupuaçu Lip Butter

Retail Price: $20.00

Pleasantly surprised by this Sol de Janeiro lip balm. It’s a very nice color especially now for the fall season! It’s a bit on the warm side yet sheer like a tint and it’s very hydrating on the lips.

Beauty Bakerie – Breakfast In Bed Eyeshadow Palette

Retail Price: $38.00

Also got this full-size” Breakfast in Bed” eyeshadow palette from Beauty Bakerie. This palette is really nice because it’s a mixture of matte & simmer shades. Also perfect for this fall season.

Overall I think this palette is nice. I would highly suggest you use a sticky base when using the shadows to get maximum color payoff. I would also suggest to do your eyes first as I feel some of the matte shadows do have a bit of fallout.

Grown Alchemist – Matte Balancing Moisturizer – Acai Berry & Borago

Retail Price: $69.00

I have been using this Grown Alchemist – Matte Balancing Moisturizer under my makeup for the past week and honestly I can’t stop using it. Having acne/cystic prone skin, I tend to get oily throughout the day. My skin stays matte but is hydrated. I don’t get greasy yet I’m not dry or flakey? Idk, I haven’t done too much investigation on it lol but I really really enjoy this product.

The texture is quite nice too, gets absorbed to the skin quite quickly leaving the skin feeling hydrated, not sticky and nicely matte.
