I had so much fun creating another look using the James Charles x Morphe Palette ! What can I say? I love blue shadows too lol!
This look was flirty, colorful, lashy, glittery and did I say fun ?
Originally I was inspired by “Bratz” the dolls. I had a follower on TikTok say I looked like a “Bratz” Doll haha (LOVE) & figured “Why not?!?” Bratzdoll have pretty defined eyes usually very cut creased and of course their signature plump lips. When I was in my 20’s cut creasing was a bit easier; and of course with age, my eyes have changed a bit in size.
But hey NO BIGGIE! A tight ponytail can really make all the difference! Not only does it give me a mini-lift, it really helped out with my eye lids too. Making this glam alot easier to achieve.
When doing this look, or any look really that I know I will be using really bright colors and or glitter may be used? I will start on my eyes first then work my way to foundation and etc. This really helps especially if using pigmented colors too as they’re always a chance for fall out and we definitely don’t want that!
For colorful looks, it’s super important to have your eyes nicely prepped and primed. Preferably in a very fair tone, so the colors really pop! I used “Tarte – Shape Tape Concealer”in shade – Porcelain Beige to cancel out any coloring on my eye lids and also to my under eye lids too. Normally I would set with regular powder but how I wanted this look to be extra vibrant; I used the white shade as labeled ” # 1″ (matte white pigmented shadow) from the “James Charles x Morphe Palette”. Any good white matte shadow will work just fine.
Of course to get this look you don’t only have to use The Morphe X James Charles palette if you don’t have this at home. Totally can use similar shade or palettes. Some other great alternatives for this palette? “BH Cosmetics” – Take Me Back To Brazil Palette $10.00
(I’ve labeled them by number so it’s easier to explain) using my morphe x james palette.
Using a nice dense fluffy brush, I mixed “# 2”(a matte neon blue shadow)& a bit of “# 3 (matte true blue shadow) into the crease & dragged out into the outer corners.
To further define the crease, I mixed a bit of ” # 3″(matte true blue shadow) & “# 4” (matte royal blue shadow) and applied with a smaller defined blending brush straight into the crease. I did this a few times and dabbed “# 4”(matte royal blue shadow) into the crease until I was happy with the depth.
To cut the crease; I used the same Tape Shape concealer used earlier, but also applied a light layer ofNYX Jumbo Cream Eyeshadow Pencil in shade “Milk” to ensure the look is extra white! And set with ” # 1″(matte white pigmented shadow).
With a hint of “# 5”(a super pretty pigmented neon hot pink) dabbed onto the mid outer crease lightly and I mean lightly (this shade really packs a punch) for a pop of color.
To further glam this look out. I added a very light layer of glitter specks. Because why not?!? Applied “Stila Glitter & Glow“ in shade “Diamond Dust” a beautiful silver glitter and so easy to apply!
To finish up with this glam, I went with a mega wing and a bomb pair of lashes! My go to liquid eyeliner is “Stila All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner” in shade “Intense Black” because honestly, it’s the easiest to apply and it’s mega black!
Last but not least I applied these amazing lashes from a small business named “Picaso Lashes“ in style “Sunday”. These lashes are so flirty ! A bit on the more dramatic side, but pretty comfy! The lashes have a great dark lash band which really helped for this look!
I hope you guys enjoyed this glam as much as I did!! If you recreate it? I would to see it! Tag me!! I’ve posted my socials below!!
